Rapid City, SD
Wow Rapid City is huge! With a population around 74K, it's about the size of Missoula, MT. Most of the larger towns I've been through in the past few weeks have had a population under 5K.
Mt. Rushmore was okay. It was only a little cooler in person than it is in the pictures, but I did have an amazing view of the Black Hills NF.
Tonight I'll stay in the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands, and tomorrow I'll finally ride through Badlands National Park!

Google maps describes Badlands as featuring "Rugged natural formations and wildlife". Does that mean rugged wildlife? You'll fit right in.
