McDonald's

Yesterday I didn't see my shadow until 4:30 pm, which was a welcome thing. The rolling Montana roads took me 80 miles; from Great Falls to Denton. There, I was serinaded by a small, rock, cover-band playing for an audience of about 50. I fell asleep around 10:00 in a public park.




I've ridden to Lewiston so far today, and I'm currently enjoying the wonderful services available at McDonald's:

• Free, fast WiFi
• Cold water
• Electrical outlets
• Tables
• Air conditioning
• Surprisingly nice bathrooms
• Nobody cares when I don't buy anything
• I can see my bike from inside because the walls are windows

After buying more food, and maybe a map of South Dakota, I'll take a smaller backroad to Grass Range, MT.
