Lolo Pass

It's raining lightly here. I'm at Lolo Pass, between Idaho and Montana. The visitor center has humming bird feeders, amazing bathrooms, WiFi, and electrical outlets.

Today (so far) I've biked through 78 miles of Clearwater National Forest. In Powell, a gas station/tourist destination 13 miles downhill from Lolo Pass, I heard some people talking about a bear and a wolf that they "got". It's unclear what precisely they meant, although I got the impression that the animals were not longer alive.

After two hours at Lolo Pass, it seems that most people stop here to let their dog go pee, and to use the bathroom themselves. Pretty much everyone drives a truck.
